We live in Poland, near Konin. We have seen Afghan hounds live for the first time in the ’70, when two afghans walked down the Grunwaldzka Street in Poznań. As soon as we moved to our own house, we bought the “dream dog” from the Miss Borkowska (Kennel Kontrapunkt) in 1987. Our Liberty Kontrapunkt lived with us for 13 years. After his walking away, beyond the “Rainbow Bridge”, it was so empty at home, that we started looking for the new afghan.

Thanks to M. Misztal (Kennel Pustynny Wiatr) we found afghan girl – “Princezna ze Zlicinskych Luk” in Czech Republic. Here in Poland, K. Cichoń (Kennel Krist Wil) promised us the puppy a few months later. We didn't want to wait so we bought Princezna. “Mayflower Krist Wil” - Maya was born 6 months later. She was so lovely that she also found a place in our house. Girls were very nice but when Nomin Krist Wil was born - "grouch" , he also jointed our pack. After a few years, girls finished Polish Championship and we wanted (we and they) to have puppies. “Maya” and “Justin T Gandamak” fit themselves very well and after a difficult delivery our “herd” expanded to Anne and Alice.
At last "Australian" – “Russell” appeared in our house.
Therefore, we live with 6 afghans and 2 cats.
